kalamatianou
was born in Athens in. She graduated from the Department of Architecture, National Technical University of Athens, Greece in 2002. In 2004 she completed her post-graduate studies in environmental design at the Architectural Association School in London. During this time, her research focused on the interrelation and interaction of theatrical and urban spaces and on the improvement of large city microclimates. She also participated in two conferences on environmental architecture and urban design (PLEA 2004 / PLEA 2005). Since returning to Athens in 2005, she has collaborated with renowned architectural offices, taking part in the design and supervision of large scale projects and thus gained considerable experience in the renovation of managerial bank premises and residential houses. She is now operating her own architectural office and is engaged in the design of professional premises and private homes.
